Are you creative?

Creative.

Well, it is a powerful word.

What`s in your mind when you hear word "creative"?

Most people think creative relate only with art.
Creative relate only with your right brain.
Creative relate with imagination.
Creative relate with doing something great and people will say "WOW" to it.

So, is that true?
Is it really creative so complex?

Well, I used to think that way too.

Creative only belong to artist and succeed  people.
And there is no hope for me to become creative.

Because, based on that point of view about creative, I always feel that I`m not a creative person.

No matter how hard I try to make a great thing, it never be or never satisfy me.
So, I feel some desperation in me and in my life. Because I used to think that I`m a failure.

Yes, I know, it sound pathetic. But, that what I used to think.

Couple months ago when I went to chruch, I heard a sermon and it is really helped me! A sermon by Ps. Sidney Mohede. He talked about creative.

And yes, it blown my mind.

Creative is not something like you write a number 1 song at all top chart in the world.
Or paint a masterpiece like Monalisa.

Creative is just as simple that you make what you think to be happen. Even in simple daily life things.

Example : when you woke up and you think that you want to eat cereal with milk for your breakfast, and u really get up from bed and make the cereal with milk and eat it, congratulations, you already being creative!

Because creative is make thought become thing!

So, when u think about something, and you make it happen, you are creative!

And remember, our God is creative God!
We were made in His figure. So, we are creative as well!

Oh. One more thing! Please becareful with what u think and what you said.
What you think will affect what will you do and how you feel.

Your word, create your words.

I know. It sound old ans cliché. But it is true!
Word, the first time it is used, is not for communicate but for creation! (GOD create this world using word!) Remember that we were made in His figure, so even when you not realize, our word have power to create our world!

I recommend you to start say positive thing about yourself and talk positive affirmation to yourself. And before you do that, please, change the way you think.
Because how can yourself trust what you said if it opposite from what you think and your belief.

Change the way you think, change the way you speak, and you will see your world begin to change.

Why I writing this?
Simply that I want to be creative!

Many thoughts pop up in my mind that I want to write this and write that, but I'm not writing it yet! I'm not creative yet! So, I want to start be a creative person.

As simply bring my thought become thing!
Start writing and share my thought with you!
